Their breakfasts are one of the best things to order at any given time of day! Nothing like having a delicious breakfast in the wee hours of the nite!
They used to take credit cards....they recently stopped and now its a cash only establishment!
OMG
We deliver till midnite every day
GREAT PLACE TO EAT AND THE SERVICE IS GOOD WOULD RECOMMEND TO GO AND ENJOY THE FOOD..
Wasn't happy with the service the manager gave. My waiter was great and very understanding. However the manager only cared about making a sale. The grits that I ordered were disgusting. I showed my waiter the issue and she was understanding. However the manager refused to remove the item from my bill. Eat here at your own risk. Keep in mind I used to go all the time to this diner. Food was great at one time.
I love the classic diner aesthetic. Great prices too. Bathroom wasn't the best, but for New York, it was good. Even though the soap was in a spray bottle, at least there was soap, and a lot of it! And good is fantastic.
This place is legendary the story’s I can’t tell oh boy. Anyway if your looking for a late night burger or a good morning breakfast this place is always an option and the 24hr service is a plus. If you live in Williamsburg or greenpoint and you haven’t been here yet then your missing out and need to get with our Brooklyn way hahaha. Can’t go wrong with the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon. Delicious
Visited NewYork for the first time and was on the hunt for the traditional American diner. We ordered the blueberry pancakes and French toast which were a total dream. Our waitress was lovely and helped us to locate a few places nearby which was really useful. We were seated straight away and the food cake really quickly too. Thanks guys!
Good food, good service, decent prices. Full bar service, though the drinks are not great with brunch. Great after the bar though.
This is a great place has been in the neighborhood since I was young going out to dance and going there to have a great breakfast really cool spot.
Really liked this diner. Great selection of food. Lovely berry smoothie. I had the blueberry pancakes . Great. Service good.
The dinner is worn and they are in the dark ages lol they only accept cash. High priced cafeteria food lol. False advertising on the menu with delicious food pictures and food falling short. The mud slide cheese cake was hard and dense. I will say this the parmigiana cutlet was good. Not a memorable meal.
The food here was excellent, I ordered breakfast food, and it was perfect. The kids ordered from the kid's menu, and they ate all their food plus my leftovers. Usually, there is a doggy bag, not so with this restaurant. The kid said to give them a 4, and the reason they didn't get the 5 was cause of the bathroom. I would come back here anytime.
Food was actually delicious - had the Benedict which was quite tasty and came with a side of potatoes. Service and cleanliness can definitely (and should be!) be improved however, particularly in the bathrooms.
Not the best diner, convenient location though. Christmas music was blaring well before Thanksgiving even happened. I recommend Tom's diner rather than Kellogg's. Tom's a good guy
Horrible food passed through the door. Not the same quality since the pandemic
On a sunny and hopeful Saturday afternoon my unsuspecting family and I accidentally approached what seems to be the old people’s home, judging my the smell and feeling of utter despair and repulsion lingering around us. It only gets worse folks. Upon entering we were greeted with the Grinch herself. This time she was not set on ruining Christmas, but rather every other day. Our’s was no exception and we didn’t even get to eat anything (thank the lord). We looked at food on the tables which appeared to be fake or still thawing food. Everything was dirty from the floor to the food to the people. As we waited in a group of four the Grinch served several groups who came in after us (including one group of 6). We waited and waited, surely inhaling plenty of second hand smoke, and still nothing. We eventually left empty handed, and after reading more recent reviews that’s not a loss.
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. They made me feel very welcome, not a lot of places still care about their customers to such a degree. You may even be greated by the owner herself 😁
Food was diner food as expected.. service was terrible, manager was super rude.
Love this diner! The food never disappoints me. I love the French onion Omg! Thank me later
This is a true old school diner. I haven't been to a diner in so long I forgot there menus have like a thousand things on them and Kellogg's is no different... Lol but I hand chicken an waffles it was really good. Chicken was a little salty but just for me but I don't even cook with salt so it could have been just well seasoned 😜. Over all cool place relaxed vibe service was a little slow and it wasn't even full but it's a diner not really expecting much.
I never been to a restaurant what served me food on a dirty plate. A few of the items that's I ordered came back incorrect. I asked for scramble eggs and it didn't come scrambled. The silverware wasn't clean never went to a restaurant that I didn't have plastic utensils. First time I ever went to this restaurant and the last time i will never go back after the horrible experience I had this morning
The only place we found open at new year's. We waited over 1.5 hours for a table for 8 while we watched others get tables faster. Finally got 2 tables for 4 on each extremes of the diner. Service was excellent, the food was good. We got our check with 18% gratuity included for our 4-people table. Not that our server didn't deserve it, but that used to happen on groups of 7 or more.
One of my favorite Breakfast spots. Always clean, Serving sizes are just rite. Always satisfied with our breakfast.
From left to right: off, off, and offFebruary 24, 2019Food is good, comfortable sitting equipments.
Really bad dining experience. The manager was unfriendly, just as our waitress. I ordered a cheeseburger, which did not have much flavour. My friend had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was nice, but the chicken was dry, flavourless and full of bones. The portions are big, which could be a good thing, but the quality was really bad. Overall really overpriced and really bad service. Don't go here for dining!
You must have a credit card or debit card with a chip. Prepaids are not accepted here. Basically, cards with a chip or cash. Great atmosphere for an old diner. People constantly in and out, food is delicious and very healthy portions. Desserts by the slice, bowl, or scoop looked mouth watering. Would definitely go back.
Classic American dinery. Liked it really much and recommend to others, especially tourists who look for classic venues like this one.Would definitely come back here.
Xmas day and I called to ask if they were open, a lady with an accent was so rude on the phone. I asked her nicely if they were open (to confirmed since I frequently travel from far to this place) and she spoke so fast I couldn’t understand and hanged up the phone on me. I called back and asked again and she said she didn’t have time for me to answer my questions! Lately I noticed their employee are ruder and ruder. I only give them two stars cause their food and some employees are actually nice.
Honestly they are open 24 hrs that’s good. They are too expensive, 11.98 for two pieces of French toast n two thin pieces of ham. I’m still hungry but I should of known better, I’m a Brooklyn native this place was better when I was a kid.
Superb breakfast joint , decently priced with corresponding New York proportions for the meals. Unlimited coffee and a great American ambience. Also they are open 24 hours , nothing better than a plate of waffles at 3 AM when you have got the munchies.
Soooooooo good. And surprisingly enough for NYC it was very reasonably priced as well. Huge portions. And such a great atmosphere. Love the oldies vibe. We will definitely be back.
Omg they have great food love kelloges
Not that great. Nachos had no flavor at all. Literally plain store bought chips with American cheese melted on top and sliced jalapeños. Salsa on the side and containers of sour cream. Very disappointed. Huevos rancheros were pretty bland and upsetting too. My friend had to put ketchup to everything to add any flavor at all. The chicken club sandwich had really really dry chicken and the fries were soo oily. Service was a bit slow too because there were only 2 people working for dinner on a Saturday night... only good redeeming factor is that they have good portions but if you care about eating flavored food then don’t come here.
The service was ok. Food was a bit pricey compared to other diners. Great location and but parking is scarce. Lucky if you find meter parking.
A great diner at a great location. Parking was easy to find(but that WAS very early in the morning). Very clean interior and the decor is great. Our breakfast was great, the pancakes were fluffy and delicious.
guy who answered the phone claimed he couldnt find my address on his “map” i spelled out my address for him and he said he doesn’t deliver to my address, it is literally 3miles away from the restaurant, i am Greek and im not happy. i want the owners who are also greek to contact me
It was our first experience in a diner, and we were not disappointed. The service could be better, but the food was amazing!
I used to eat in and the food is great but the service is awful. I just tried to make delivery and they hung up 4 times on me. First I was waiting to talk to someone because a woman wasn’t capable of answering a small question “how long will delivery be”, “how much is the delivery”, “did you take my order”. These are all rational questions to ask but why did I have to ask them all on 4 different times of calling you? I don’t do reviews because it takes a lot to write my opinion but damn! Also they are always out of pecan pie, especially when I need it.
I'm fairly certain #race played a factor in how HORRIBLY treated me.
I wanted to rate them five stars. But my colleagues found a hair and some skin flakes in his orange juice. We asked to get a second glass and we were met with disapproving looks. We also came in when the restaurant was empty, and we had to flag our waiter down multiple times before we ordered. Mine you there are two hostess. Utensils were not washed cleanly. Sad to leave a bad review but I had to.
Im from the UK and visted NYC, on the first day our bodyclocks where so messed up that we needed to eat breakfast at 4am as our stomach was telling us that it was lunch time. this was the nearest authentic 24 hour diner we could find between queens & the Brooklyn Bridge. The food was really good, the waitress really chirpy & chatty even at 4:30am. Exactly the traditional diner breakfast of Eggs, Hash & Waffles we where looking for. They also had a good English Breakfast Tea.
Love this classic! Been coming for breakfast for over a decade.
Food used to taste a lot better, the price went up a bit but they didnt raise the bar on the food, one of my neighborhood diners, good amount of food for your money, service was good.
This was a favorite for my family once upon a time. The food was ok. Nothing how it once was. The hostess yells "Go Sit on that side" without seating us. No flavor to the food. It has gotten more expensive. The waitress was great but overworked. This was my last visit here. Sorry but I'd rather go to McDonalds.
Great service and a fun atmosphere! Great for families and groups to visit. Food is pricey but is pretty good!
Best Triple Decker Turkey Club. Fresh sliced roasted turkey.
The waitress and the busser were nice but the hostess was very rude as soon as we came in. We asked for a table for 4 because we were waiting for one more person to arrive. She told us she wouldn’t seat us without everyone there so we’d have to either order right then or wait outside for the forth person to arrive. We agreed to order without the forth person. We were waiting for the food to arrive and she came over to our table asked if we ordered we said yes and then she screams out in front of everyone “make sure they’ve ordered already” and marches to the back to make sure we’ve ordered. She gave us dirty looks for the rest of the time we ate. The restaurant wasn’t even busy and had several open tables. Could’ve gotten better tasting food at most delis in bk too. Cashier was also rude. Waitress was nice and apologized for the host’s behavior. Weirdest experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant ever.
